Xavier B. began photography in 2015. His passion quickly led him to capture images of his urban environment through his lens. For this project, he chose to combine his two passions, photography and graffiti, to create the exhibition "PotoGraff."
For a year, he brought together artists, graffiti artists, illustrators, and tattoo artists to customize his photos. Thirty artists agreed to participate in the "PotoGraff" project, including Frez, Rask, Dexa, Bebar, Mina, and many others. Their only medium was a SINGLE photo printed in 60x40cm format on 140g fine art paper. All the prints were taken between December 2015 and June 2016 with two cameras: a Yashica Electro 35 and an Olympus Mju II.
The "PotoGraff" exhibition took place from Friday, March 31 to Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Maison Sage, with an opening night and a closing night in partnership with Tealer Records.
